Senior Cricket Team

Congratulations to our S.C.T., Senior Cricket Team, which has qualified for the knock out stages of the Leinster Schools A Cricket Competition after victory over High School. High school, batting first, bowled out for 61 with Shane Keane (6th year) and Gavin Hoey (3rd year) taking three wickets each.

In chasing the total, Blackrock achieved it in the 11th- over. Gavin Hoey was top scorer 34 runs previously in a group game, we lost to Gonzage – 161 V 130 runs Ben Brownlee (2nd Year) 41 runs; Sean Lardner (4th Year) 26 runs.

We wish the team well for the quarter-final versus Wesley and thank Mr. Pickering for his preparation of the team.
