Karl Ashe Final 2018

Congratulations to Michael Nealon and his very skilful Transition Year Dayboys team on their victory over a competitive 6th Year Dayboy side led by Donal McKeon. Played on the front lawn it was a very well contested affair with great goals scored by both sides.

This was Transition Year’s first victory in the tournament played in honour of Karl Ashe.

As is the tradition, the medals and trophy, donated by Karl’s family, were presented at his bench on the Castle lawn.

I thank our Games Administrator Mr O’Brien, Deans Mr Ryan and Mr O’Neill and winning coach Mr Grant for their organisation of this important event in our calendar.
