We commiserate with Captain Aran Horgan (6th Year) and his squad on this marginal loss to Clongowes in the quarter-final of the Joe McGrath Memorial Trophy last Wednesday, 21st March.
Having led 1-0 at half-time with a goal from Gary Galvin (6th Year), we dominated possession and just couldn’t get that vital second goal. A late equalizer and a scoreless extra time period led to penalties. Not to be.
