We congratulate Captain Gavin Jones (Third Year) and his Squad on their victory over a talented Wellington side, played on the front lawn Saturday last, January 16, 2016.
The Wellington team was playing its first game since Christmas – the JCT, their fourth – and this made a telling difference.
It was great to welcome also such a large number of parents over from London for the weekend.
I thank the families who hosted the Wellington boys for two nights, our Coaches Mr Vanstone, Mr Lambe and Mr Fairley, and our Games Administrator Mr Evan O’Brien who made it possible.
Finally, we wish Gavin and his Squad well for the Cup Campaign which starts on Monday, 1st February in Donnybrook, against St Mary’s at 3.00 pm.
