Inter-house Rugby 2nd year 10s Competition 13th September

Fantastic weather, a great turnout of boys and parents, excellent rugby and minimal injuries (none serious) all contributed to an excellent Rugby Blitz on Saturday last.

De Valera, captained by Jack Loscher won the A Blitz, defeating Mattie McShane’s side in the Final.  Mattie was awarded player of the tournament.

The B Division produced the same outcome as De Valera led by David Campbell beat McQuaid in the Final.  Aaron O’Sullivan (McQuaid) was awarded player of the tournament.

I congratulate all the Captains and their House members who made it possible.

I particularly thank our Games Administrator Mr Evan O’Brien, Mr Brennan, Mr McMahon, Mr Murphy and Mr Grumley Traynor for their faultless organisation; Referees Conor Kilcoyne, Ray Crotty, Jack O’Carroll (both Class of 2012) and Peter Quirke (Class of 2013) and the many parents in attendance.
