Fifteen crews raced at Dublin Metropolitan Regatta in Blessington Co. Wicklow last Saturday 27th May.

Junior 14 Quad

The highlight was an impressive win for the Junior 14 quad that raced in the new boat Fides. The boat consisted of:

Junior 14 Quad: Alex Cronnolly, Oisin Fitzgerald, Hugo Mangan, Jack Tarpey and Sam Horkan – Cox (all 2nd Year).

The boys had to race in tough conditions and unfortunately caught a crab a few strokes into the race. They were behind but fought hard and ended up winning the race.

Junior 15 quad

The men’s junior 15 quad came second behind a strong Cork crew.

Junior 15 Quad: Jack Tiernan, Peter O Grady, Dan Krychenko, MJ Power (all 3rd Year) and Seán Hannon–Cox (4th Year).

Men’s Junior 14 single

Oisin Fitzgerald (2nd year) came third in the men’s junior 14 single.
