CROSS COUNTRY LEINSTER CHAMPIONSHIPS Wednesday 11th February

Congratulations to our Senior Squad of Luke McCann (7th), Christian McKenna (12th), (both 5th Year), Angus Meldon (29th), (6th Year), and Brian McGlone (30th), (5th Year), who won silver, 2nd place, and thus qualified for the All-Ireland Championships which will be held on March 7th.

Our Inter team of Mark Dignam (29th), (4th Year), Conor Halpin (35th), (3rd Year), Edward McKenna (40th) (2nd Year) and Patrick Fahy (50th) (3rd Year) came in 6th place with our Junior Team of Richard O’Farrell (33rd), Tim D’Arcy (36th), Max McKenna (45th), David Fitzgibbon (56th) (all 2nd Year), finished in 8th place.

All teams performed very well against some very tough competition on a demanding Santry course.
I thank our coaches, Mr Cullen, Mr Rowsome and Eddie McDonagh for their work with our squad.
