CROSS COUNTRY

Our Cross-Country Team that went to Dunboyne Athletics club Open was small but had a huge impact on the day. Our INTER TEAM came close to medals in a large race. Our only Junior runner Harry Sharpe showed his consistency by coming 15th for the second consecutive race.

However, particular praise should be reserved for our SENIOR TEAM with just two members on a field flooded with other schools
(17 competed in total), who managed to pick up a Bronze Team Medal. Brian McGlone actually had a tremendous race and won it outright. A fantastic achievement!
