CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK: JANUARY 26TH – 30TH 2015
The theme of this week is CATHOLIC SCHOOLS: A call to Serve.
The week started with our Bullying Awareness Day and a meeting of the Faith Friends (called to serve). There is the Exposition of the Blessing Sacrament (8.50 am – 11.45 am) on Tuesday while Wednesday will see the Trading Game and SPIRASI presentation for Fifth Year.
A ‘Catholic Schools’ Treasure Hunt will run for different R.E. classes throughout the week.
On Friday there will be a Debate with Mount Anville in the Learning Centre at 11.00 am – “That this House would Remove Religion from Schools”.
I thank Mr O’Reilly, Mr Tom Ryan and the R.E. and Pastoral Departments for their organisation of the week’s events.
A thought – take a moment to step into our wondrous Chapel during the week and offer a prayer in gratitude for our families, our community, our spirit, our faith and for those whom we have the privilege to serve.
