Congratulations to John Huggard (Second year) who finished 2nd in the Chemical, Physical and Mathematical Junior (Individual) category with his project ‘The Problems with Pentaquarks’.
Harry Kearns’ (Transition Year) project ‘An air quality survey of the Dublin Area 25 years after the Smoking Coal Ban using Lichens as Bio-Indicators’ was Highly Commended.
I also acknowledge Tom Dooley’s (Second Year) fine project on ‘Binomial Distribution’ which earned many plaudits from both Judges and Visitors alike.
I thank my colleagues Mr Aylward, Mr Ward, Mr Grumley Traynor and Mr Rowsome for their support for and encouragement of the boys.
