Boarders’ Family Mass – Sunday, 10th September
Boarders’ Family Mass
Sunday, 10th September 2017
On Sunday, Fr. Paddy Dundon, C.S.Sp was the celebrant for the Boarders’ Family Mass. It was a great celebration of Castle life and we were delighted that so many made the effort to ‘Be There’.
In a wonderful homily, Fr. Dundon spoke of the importance of caring for each other in the Castle and told the boys that the 3 most important words in any Community / Family are Sorry : Please : Thank You – S.P.T. – “S.P.T is more important than the SCT”.
A great start to the year for our Boarders.
I thank our celebrants, Fr. Dundon, Fr. Nash, Fr. McNamara and Bishop Ellison, the President of the Union, Eunan O’Carroll (class of 1984) and his wife Judy, Mr MacDermott, Mr O’Brien, Mr Pickering and Alex MacDonald from the Castle, the Principal of Willow Park 1st Yr. Mr Rogan, Deputy Principal, Ms Nolan, Deans Mr Dunne, Mr Brennan and Mr Ryan, Head of Pastoral Programme Mr Hurl, Organist Mr Orrock, Cantors Donnacha Mescal, Nathan Mullan and Euan Kennedy (all 6th Yr), Reader Harry Donnelly (6th Yr), the Boarders, their parents, grandparents and guardians for their contribution to a marvellous liturgy.
