Basketball – U19 East Leinster League, Oct 2019

This was a setback. Simply put, ‘Rock underperformed. In the third quarter we scored a single free throw and you can’t afford quarters like that and expect to win many basketball matches. We scored 15 points in the final quarter which was more like what this team can produce but unfortunately it was not enough.

However, the attitude of the boys until the end cannot be faulted. We do go into mid-term however on a positive note. Because of our better head to head record v St Conleths, we finished second in the group and qualified for the quarter finals after the midterm break v St. Marks.
