Our 16’s team came up short against an excellent Luttrelstown side. Three of our starting five are in 2nd year and the greater physicality of our opponents was the key difference. Luttrelstown led 27-11 at half time but the boys deserve enormous credit for how they stuck to the task, showing great character and fight to win the second half 24-16.
Captain Fergal Keane (3rd Year) scored 12 points and Mark Murphy made a real impact from the bench with 12 points also. We congratulate Fergal and his squad on reaching the semi-final and wish them well in the 3rd place playoff.
