Athletics Leinster Championships Results

Congratulations to Shane Keane (6th Year) on winning the senior Long Jump in the Leinster Championships. Ian Douglas and Harry Cullen (both 3rd Year) also qualified for the All Irelands on June 3rd with bronze medal performances in the Junior Triple Jump and intermodal shot respectfully. Shane also won bronze in the Senior 100m and our inter relay teams of Ben Murphy, Ben White (both 4th Year), John Campbell and Michael Lowey (both 3rd Year) finished in 3rd place.

Many of the boys achieved personal bests and finished just off the podium.

I’d like to thank all the athletics coaches, Ms Farrell, Mr Rowsome, Mr Fitzsimons, Dave Sweeney, Eddie MacDonagh, Cian Crotty (Class of 2014), Roghan MacMahon (Class of 2014), Mr Dunne, Ms McDonough, Mr Maher, Mr Neville, Mr O’Brien for their encouragement and dedication to the boys.
