INDOOR COMBINED
ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP

Both Junior And Inter-Teams fared very well at the LEINSTER INDOOR

COMBINED ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP in Athlone Arena on Wednesday 21^st October 2015.

The boys had a physically draining day competing across 5 events: 60 M Hurdles, Shot, Long Jump, 

200 m and 800 m.

Whilst no member of our team figured in the top three of the Pentathlon there were many who excelled in individual events such as David Hearne (Second Year) coming 1^st in the 800 m and James Burke (Transition Year) coming 1^st in the Shot Putt.

I thank Mr Fitzsimons, Mr Rowsome and Ms Farrell for their organisation of and preparation of the boys.
