5th Year Family Mass

5^TH YEAR FAMILY MASS

Fr. Brendan Foley CSSp. was Chief Celebrant at a well-attended 5^th Year Family Mass last Sunday morning, 28^th February 2016.

He challenged the boys to seize the moment, to respond to their calling – “There are burning bush moments in all of our lives”.

House Captains Bill Madigan and Patrick Patterson presented a cheque for €2,600, proceeds from the 24-hour Fast by 92 5^th Years, to Miriam Omoro of Spirasi, the Spiritan Agency for Refugees in Ireland.

Miriam, in thanking the boys spoke of her struggles both in Uganda and Ireland and her pride in being the first refugee to serve on the Board of Spirasi.
