We commiserate with Captain Michael Ryan and his Squad on a narrow defeat in the opening League Match of the season played last Wednesday, 21st January 2015. The team showed great heart throughout and there are certainly a lot of positives to be taken from the match.

Michael Ryan (12 points) and Sean Lardner (8 points) put in an excellent offensive effort, however the entire Squad cannot be faulted for an excellent defensive effort also.
The entire panel got game time which was very important considering that for 75% of the panel this was the their first game of competitive Basketball for ‘Rock. With more game experience, and an improvement in terms of the conversion of our offensive chances, there are plenty of reasons to be positive.
