2016 Junior Certificate – Great Results!

We congratulate our Transition Year students, their parents and teachers, on excellent results.

 

There were 418 A’s amongst 1526 Honours in Higher Level papers.  A new high!

 

Highlights include:

 

  • 67 A’s in Higher Level History
  • 73 A’s in Higher Level Maths : 67 A’s in Higher Level Science
  • 44 A’s in Geography
  • 100% pass rate in English, Irish And Science
  • 1677 Higher Level papers sat across all subjects with an 99.3% pass rate
  • 2% pass rate in all ordinary level papers

 

Blackrock College is a mixed ability school

 

These results provide further evidence that Blackrock College is as a centre for educational excellence at all levels of the ability spectrum.  They are a compliment to the teaching and learning process and confirm that the class of 2019 has enormous potential.  Build on this!
